What is Loosh?
Loosh is described as a form of energy generated by human emotions – especially negative or intense ones such as:

Fear

Anger

Grief

Stress

Pain

According to this idea, loosh is a kind of "spiritual nourishment" or psychic energy that certain higher, non-human entities (sometimes called archontic beings, parasites, or interdimensional entities) "harvest" from us.

Origin in Robert Monroe’s Theory
In his book Far Journeys (1985), Monroe describes a metaphor where Earth is a kind of “farm” created by higher intelligences to cultivate loosh. Humans function as “producers” through their emotions and experiences – and suffering is especially valuable because it generates a large amount of loosh.
