Perfectionism has been playing out in my business in a big way lately and it has been stopping me from expressing my messages and sharing my creations.

Breaking free from perfectionism is not always easy, so I wanted to share some of the practices I have been working with to help me. 

Healing this pattern requires us to face our fears of being imperfect and not good enough, detach from the outcome, release external validation and instead return to the joy and inner fulfilment of what we are doing and creating.

Feminine energy is cyclical. We are not the same emotionally, energetically or hormonally each day and we are always moving through seasons, ups and downs, ebbs and flow, and various waves of emotion.

But I see many women struggling to embrace the seasons and cycles of feminine energy. Instead they try to force their energy to function in more of a masculine way and expect themselves to feel the same, be the same and output the same every day.

In today’s episode, I am exploring how to balance your inner feminine and masculine energy, and this conversation is deeply reflective of what I have been feeling and working through over the past few months.

Like many other women, I have often found myself living too connected to my masculine energy which left me feeling like I was always doing, achieving, forcing, controlling, working hard and being up in my head. 

In the pursuit of my goals (or simply because I was just trying to keep up with everything that needed to get done), I began to neglect my inner feminine essence. I would ignore my bodies cries for rest, play, love, connection, nourishment, pleasure and flow. 

But I have been bringing things back into balance these past few months and it has been an incredible journey that has absolutely transformed me.

AR #98 - Deep Healing, Inner Child Work & Resolving Triggers

With all that is unfolding this year, I wanted to jump on the podcast and talk about what to do when you fall into a funk - that space of feeling flat, out of alignment, uninspired, disconnected from what makes you feel good, or just kind of...meh.
