This meditation mixtape was first streamed on Thursday March 19th, at 11:49 PM (EST), the exact moment of the Equinox.

The Vernal Equinox, also known as the Spring Equinox or Ostara is a time of equal day and equal night. It is halfway between the shortest day on the Winter Solstice and the longest day on the Summer Solstice. It represents the need for balancing the yin/yang and male/female energies. In ancient times, rituals were performed cross-culturally at the moment of alignment to cleanse old energy out of the body,  homes, and temples. The Vernal equinox also represents new light and life, new beginnings, seeds, and paths. We can tune into this energy, deepen our spiritual consciousness, and let it serve as a signal to connect with nature and the cosmos as we go through current life transitions. 

**Suggestions for Meditation**

Altar.
Include the 4 Elements of Alchemy; Fire (Candle), Earth (Flower), Air (Incense), and Water. Add any personal items that hold meaning to you. If you don't have access to some of these things, it’s ok. Work with what you have.

Gratitude.
Speak out loud or silently the things you are grateful for. Keep in mind the sustenance our environment provides. Earth, Water, Sun, Moon, plants, seeds for food etc. 

Intention.
Hold the intentions of balance, synchronization, health for our planet, and the life on it. Call more light into our bodies + the Earth itself.  Add some of your own intentions as well.

Visualization.
Charge the symbol provided with your intentions, fuse your intentions with the symbol in your mind. Throughout the meditation visualize this symbol.

Listen.
Get in a comfortable position. Play the meditation. Listen. Enjoy.
