On Sunday the 19th of November,  274 runners gathered at Woodford Park for the 179th Woodley Junior Parkrun. This run was extra special because it was a Reading Rascals Triathlon Club takeover. Of the 274 runners there were around 30 Reading Rascals. 

The first person to finish was Oli Snoxall. The first person in the JM10 category was James Titmas and first girl overall was Molly Skeil. It was a cold but dry day and a few people slipped over. 

I spoke to Reading Rascals head coach Ellie Barnes, here is what she said:
 "It was a great success. Parkrun is good because it is free and is on every week so you can beat your personal best." 
She also had advice for anyone who was keen on starting Triathlon:
 "Come and have a trial at Reading Rascals and enjoy sport!"

Lots of Reading Rascals did well too, including Harry Littlewood, Noah Tyers, Oliver Shears, Liz Ryan, Bethan Howells and Caitlin Havisham. Everyone did really well and everybody had lots of FUN!.
