This track has been quietly waiting in the background since August.
I originally wrote it with vocals in mind – a voice that could carry the weight behind the melody. But the right voice never came. And maybe that’s how it was meant to be.

Behind the Facade was born during one of the darkest periods I’ve faced.
It’s about that feeling of being surrounded by people… and still being invisible.
About standing at the edge, every day, and choosing – barely – not to step over.

Time has passed, and that place I was in… it’s no longer where I am.
But the track still holds that moment. It still speaks the truth of who I was back then.

That’s why I decided to release it now.
Not because I’m still there – but because sometimes the echoes of our past deserve to be heard.

I wrote a monologue that captures what I felt when this track was created.
And when you hear my next release, it might all make more sense.

"I recently replayed the first two episodes of Shenmue, and to preserve the unique and timeless atmosphere of these two video game masterpieces, I decided to create a musical tribute. Taking some of my favorite tracks as a foundation, I reworked and enhanced them to craft a personal reinterpretation.

For this EP, I selected tracks from the first game, set in Yokosuka, Japan, and transformed them in my own way—while striving to maintain the nostalgic essence of these locations. A second EP will follow soon, dedicated to the second game, which takes place in Hong Kong, China."
