This is the first edition of Awkward Jesus' Sonic Recycles:
A Remix of the track "Love The Way She Lies" by DAS NEU.

I have been part of DAS NEU for several years now and love everyone involved wholeheartedly. It fills me with pleasure to start this series with a DAS NEU track!

The Method of this series is as follows:

A) Each recycled track may only contain cuts from the stems of the orignial song, or the original song itself. No additional samples are allowed to be added. 

B) In addition to that, the cover artwork is created in a stream-of-consciousness way, starting with the artwork of the original track. Any idea that comes up will be implemented, creating a loop of inspiration until the result seems at least somewhat satisfying. 

Therefore, beyond being a sonic and visual reinterpretation of the original work, these are my personal exercises in using creativity with strong restrains, or in the cotrary, with no restrains at all.

Inspired by Adam Neely's Video about Nested Tuplets, I took the rhythm he created (triplet in quituplet in triplet) and made a track around it. not the best demonstration of the rhythm, but oh well.
