Biography
AWOL crew is a passion driven hip-hop based band who has 
overcome many obstacles in life proving that as long as you work hard toward your dreams you can achieve anything. 
The creative duo includes East Bridgewater native 
producer/ vocalist - Matthew Gayle, and Newburyport native 
producer / vocalist and graphic artist - Michael Colby. 
AWOL’s soul purpose is to accomplish everything on their own including mixing and mastering, writing their songs and also creating their own graphics for the artistic side of the band's image. In April 2013 they put out their first single 
"We In It" which was written to reflect their drive and work 
ethics towards their passion for music. AWOL crew is currently working on an E.P. - “Never to Late” and continue to push 
themselves musically and artistically.
