this song is an original composition written by shawntrrttl and myself! as a fur whos really enjoyed vrchat for all that it offers, there's been tough times navigating the community. i really wanted to capture that feeling of disassociation, when you're sitting up alone at 2am with your thoughts, looking into the mirror and listening to piano ambient or lofi music in the background. i was hugely inspired by the world "Pocket Rain" by Silyataru, and the playlist it encompasses inside of the world. i brought this idea to shawn and we both started working on this song, spending 3 hours in a discord call together and finding musical ideas which emphasized this cold, distant piano. this is my first ever collaboration with another musician, and shawn is just so talented and fun to work with, he did so amazing on the guitar solo part of the track. cheers!
