A name that has become synonymous with club driven techno in recent years, and armed with a catalogue of classy techno to show for it, German native Phil Berg steps up to leave his mark on the SK_X series with the ‘Raid’ EP.
The title track leads the 20th instalment of the SK_X series with an assortment of growling basslines, rolling percussion and rising synth-lines. ‘Y-Axis’ concludes the A side with a hypnotic synth groove complimented by an eerie atmosphere and texture throughout. The flip side breaks with ‘Kamino’, a dark affair packed with punchy kick drums, plucky bass and rhythmic percs. The record resolves with ‘Sinara’, a euphoric journey consisting of lush pads and rattling tones for its duration.

For the 4th edition of Involve’s ‘Nightclub Pros’ series, Regal once again invites a mix of established and upcoming artists to showcase the bandwidth of the Madrid based label’s sound. 

On the front side, Roll Dann, who made his Involve debut oin the very first Nightclub Pros edition, opens the VA with ‘Culebra’, a heavy-hitting techno masterpiece with a rolling bassline, tinges of industrial sounds and a driving energetic drum work. Following up, SlugoS delivers the fast-paced, distorted sounding warehouse anthem ‘Seconds to Midnight’, characterizes by a rumbling kick, a ferocious melody and an ambience reminiscent of the early 2000’s Schranz movement. 

On the back side, Kristian Heikkila teams up with Johan Afterglow, keeping up the energy with their track ‘Lies’, making the listeners dive into an underground world where distorted and echoing screams penetrate their brains. Up-and-coming producer SWRD, part of the duo ITNA, closes the record with a mystic ride staged by a combination of synths and an ominous piano melody in his track ‘Alpha’, an epic end to the 4th edition of the NIghtclub Pros series.

The label, founded by Ferhat Albayrak in 2009 and based in Istanbul, reflects the meeting culture of East and West in Istanbul for centuries. For years, it has been a base for upcoming new breeds, as well as a respected regular place for artists. From the dawn of time, it has been only Techno, with at least one release per month for 15 years in a row. Now, Jeton has become a place that few imprints can reach, with a monument of sustainability for years. JET200 is an 8-track celebration from our best artists, colleagues, and friends, reflecting our approach to the future. Jeton has also become the biggest Techno promoter in its region, by serving the best possible music and atmosphere available globally. The 15-year celebrations will be started in Istanbul end of summer with great events.
