Hush! is a fine piece of work, with an elaborate -yet so simple- build-up that leaves a sense of summer breeze. Thumping beats and a series of sample layers come together and send your pulse racing in a crystal-clear and über-groovy composition.

The title track, Lightning, carries the much darker signature of Axel Karakasis but has a distinct spell of high energy into it that cannot go amiss. The spirit is kept high throughout with thunderous claps, a dark bassline and a haunting set of underlying percussion, complete with cutting-edge effects and twists.  Once again, the Greek techno heavy-weight works his way through the track tirelessly, delivering an outstanding piece of pure techno

Remain Limited 56 delivers Day of Fun EP, a two-track release by Axel Karakasis. It’s refreshing, upbeat character is bound to carry you away into new realms of music fascination!


The title track, Day of Fun, open the release and stands out on its own. A trip to the darker side with slamming beats, filtered claps and sublime sounds that have an oh-so-sweet touch during the main cut. Axel experiments with vocals, before he proceeds to conclude another composition that will work miracles on any dancefloor.

Fascinated unfolds in a perky and über groovy bassline beautifully layered with clever cuts of percussion and voice samples. It escalates in a reverberating climax to reach mega-track status and from that point onwards…all hell breaks loose! Insane rhythm and relentless beats hammering only to get crowds…Fascinated!

The legendary Axel Karakasis is back on Evolution with "Box" opening the EP, employing bubbling sub bass and persistent riffing over his trademarked rhythm section. Industrial stabs and cavernous effects add even more class as the affair unfolds via a sly, spooky synth phrase. "Maze" picks up from there and kicks things up a notch as dominant synths take center stage and rocksteady drums stomp away effortlessly, in what we speculate is a tribute to the Athenian hotspot of the same name.

Axel Karakasis - Box

Luca Tresque debuts on Unrilis with a driving techno EP that has raw sounds and hypnotic grooves.

Hailing from Austria, Luca Tresque is the co-owner of Splatter imprint and has released on Florian Meindl's FLASH, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, and Alex Bau's Credo. Known for his exceptional DJ skills being a resident at Kantine Club, he has also played at the respected KHIDI, Werk, and Grelle Forelle venues.

Unrilis is a record label Co-Founded by the late Rino Cerrone, and Luca Tresque is the latest artist to join the imprints roster.

"Oxygen" is the EP's title track, and it layers trippy vocals with a hulking synth line stretched over high-velocity percussion.
