Founded by Rudosa, a talented producer and DJ in his own right, MIT has a reputation for releasing high-quality, cutting-edge techno tracks that push the boundaries of the genre. Misstress Barbara recently revitalised her longstanding record label, Iturnem, and she is back on the imprint with a peak time techno EP made in collaboration with Paul Nazca.

Born in Italy, but currently living in Canada, Misstress Barbara is an iconic DJ whose career goes all the way back to the ‘90s. She was one of the first female superstar DJs ranked inside DJ Mag's Top 100 chart.

Still getting booked to play headline DJ sets at clubs and festivals across the world, Misstress Barbara is also an accomplished producer whose back catalogue includes influential record labels ranging from Carl Cox's Intec to Christian Smith’s Tronic.

Paul Nazca is a French techno producer whose been releasing music for over a decade on labels ranging from Markantonio's AnalyticTrail to Ellen Allien’s BPitch. He also runs the highly respected imprint, Scandium Records. Along with the success of his many solo productions he has also collaborated on tracks with the likes of Pan-Pot, DJ Hell and now Misstress Barbara.

“Corniche” is a dark and aggressive track with up-tempo energy and raw machine funk.

The legendary Axel Karakasis is back on Evolution with "Box" opening the EP, employing bubbling sub bass and persistent riffing over his trademarked rhythm section. Industrial stabs and cavernous effects add even more class as the affair unfolds via a sly, spooky synth phrase. "Maze" picks up from there and kicks things up a notch as dominant synths take center stage and rocksteady drums stomp away effortlessly, in what we speculate is a tribute to the Athenian hotspot of the same name.
