The title track, Lightning, carries the much darker signature of Axel Karakasis but has a distinct spell of high energy into it that cannot go amiss. The spirit is kept high throughout with thunderous claps, a dark bassline and a haunting set of underlying percussion, complete with cutting-edge effects and twists. Powerful and vibrant, the title track is a brilliant mood booster. Rolling rhythm, amazing synths and relentless percussion form a music scenery. The track is definitely catchy building up smoothly and the cut is brilliant leaving a “feel-good” sensation.

The title track, Day of Fun, open the release and stands out on its own. A trip to the darker side with slamming beats, filtered claps and sublime sounds that have an oh-so-sweet touch during the main cut. Axel experiments with vocals, before he proceeds to conclude another composition that will work miracles on any dancefloor.

With his label Equal, he is always on the lookout for new musical experiences and actively seeks to shape the scene as a producer, DJ and label owner.

Amsterdam-based Isaiah makes a striking debut on Life In Patterns with his EP “Passive Aggression”. Across five stripped-back, impactful cuts, the Dutch artist delivers music designed to move dancefloors and challenge adventurous DJs.

True to his signature style, Isaiah blends old-school grit with sharp, percussive textures, crafting an atmosphere that feels both raw and forward-thinking while staying focused on the essentials.

Passive Aggression will be released on vinyl and digital formats on 21 November 2025. The vinyl edition comes with ten locked grooves, which are also included when purchasing the full EP on Bandcamp.
