Straight beats are dashing through the sphere of sound. Huge bass bodies fill your head. Distorted heights are emerging at the edge. Everything comes together in one colossal sound globe. Four tracks. Four times a blast. Now, take it to the dance floor!

“Peak time meets after hour.” Felix Bernhardt is a smashing combination of the blazing sound of a crowded techno club and the nasty temptation of a never-ending after hour. As the self-portrayal on his website already indicates, he does not fit in any box. Yet, his productions fit perfectly into the track lists of big names such as Richie Hawtin, 2000andONE, Dodzin and Butch. 
Before he released his first e.p. on Thomas Heckmann’s label A.F.U. in 2003, he, as almost every other techno artist, made his first contacts with electronic music through techno parties. However, he clearly has maintained this intoxicating spirit of roaring dance floors in his productions as well as in his performances. As a live act, he immediately grabs the crowd and captivates it with his massive sound made by an array of controllers, pads, own samples and crazy synths.

SNORK ENTERPRISES 
It's a distinct sound diving deep down into the spheres of genuine underground techno where bass-lines surround your mind and the fascination of a gloomy yet groovy world of sounds inevitably enters your head. 
Founded in 2004 by techno DJ and producer Christian Schachta, known as Syntax Error, Snork Enterprises is a base for modern underground electronic techno music. It's not at all about being pretentious or arty for the sake of it. It's about real depth on the dance floor. Short and sweet: very snorky! It's a journey with friends such as Cristian Vogel, Phil Kieran, Jens Zimmerman, Daze Maxim, DJ W!ld and other big names from the techno scene having dedicated themselves to an uncompromising, stunning beat to go even further on a trip to the instantly exceptional, experimental sounds, ranging back to various roots of electronic underground.

TK Records welcome French top DJ, producer and remixer, Vincenn. His dark, driving Techno tracks finds their way on labels, such like Italo Business, Parlez, Shout Records. On 'Souvenir le long des rails' Vincenn takes you into dark Techno land, peeling off his subconsciousness mind in 3 remarkable tracks. The 'Ticket To Ride' mix of it shows Electro Gruppe Kamarad Meyer in good shape. The German duo turns 'Souvenir le long des rails' into a pumping Techno tune, built on uplifting rhythm-patterns. Sebastian Wolf is from the same hood. He is a sound engineer and an absolute expert in the field of granular synthesis. His remix for the track 'Slope' is breathtaking. To sum it up, this release is like the last hour before the new year: exciting and thrilling!

For a job that’s so dependent on aviation, a lot can go wrong for a DJ in the airport. Apart from losing a record bag in transit, one of the biggest fears you can have as a touring artist is finding out your flight’s been cancelled.

This is exactly what happened to Paula Temple on the night of her first appearance with us back in May. When her Saturday evening flight from Glasgow was called off at late notice, the odds of her making it down to London in time were stacked against her. 

The stars aligned when she found out Levon Vincent also needed to make the same journey, and the pair embarked on an ambitious 8-hour car journey to London. When she finally pulled up on Charterhouse Street 10 minutes before her scheduled set time, we were already impressed before she’d spun her first track.

As it turns out, she then delivered one of our favourite club debuts of the year. Taking rein of Room Two in the peak of the night, her selections were equal parts heady and destructive, delivered with a surgical approach that only comes with an absolute grasp of the craft. 

On New Year’s Eve we invite Paula Temple back to Farringdon, and as the year draws to a close we felt it as good a time as any to look back on her transcendental debut at the club. Speaking of the set, Temple told us: “The long journey to the club was rewarded a thousand times over by how well everyone received my set. It made me very happy to be at fabric!”

LENSKE’s first release by Farrago, “Risin”, comes packing high velocity punches, including a collaboration with Amelie Lens and a remix from Kobosil. The EP’s A side is packed near 12 minutes of crisp machine driven techno with Farrago’s rattling peak-time “The Riddler” being the first to puncture. The title track, “Risin”, will only be released as the Kobosil remix, a titanium tour of auditory horrors, which also borrows from the EP’s other tracks. Lens’ signature sultry vocal samples on the B side’s “Jealousy” draw the contours of a jaw grinding banger, while “Hidden Power” rounds out the release with a blaring dance floor siren encased in exquisitely unpredictable arrangement.
