Sparkling Energy

This is the second release by our german friend Ohnesorg. He came across with two great melodic tracks with a techy vibe. First track „Firlefanz“ is a steady developing tune with a nice rhythm to dance to.
Second track is called „Aufbruch“ which means departure. This track is quite euphoric and stands for the beginning of something new.

Widely acclaimed German DJ and producer HOSH has delivered the first in a series of various artist mix compilations, 'Become One'. The first of which was curated for and showcased live at the iconic, clubbing mecca of Brazil, Warung Beach Club. Aimed at drawing the crowd, venue and performer all together forming in synergy, with an artist exploring intimate ties built with different international venues in a way that best exhibits their sound and energy. We begin by connecting HOSH from fryhide label boss with the first edition on the Atlantic Coast, The iconic Warung Beach Club in Brazil. A utopia of the dance music community known for euphoric melodic sunrises which have gifted HOSH
on many several occasions during his past decade of touring.
Each mix will feature a special set, ripe with unreleased material from a diverse collection of artists curated for that timeless moment that will be released as well in EP's. The Selected Series.

Seven Seas (Original Mix) [Become One]

Deersky’s Soundteller Records begins the month of February by welcoming Micrologue back to the label for his debut EP. The German artist has been a steady contributor to the Polish imprint since making his debut in 2014, while also finding a home on Inlab Records, MNL and Provider Music. Now four remixes deep into his Soundteller discography, Micrologue returns to the label for his first original project entitled ‘Analog Dream’.

The title track kicks off the proceedings with an emotive amalgamation of progressive house and techno. Punchy beats, rolling grooves and bubbly arp fragments work wonderfully across the first act. Positive and energetic, a bright percussive cadence pushes momentum forward, before a section of broken beats provides a bridge into an array of colourful melodies. Hopeful and uplifting, the main break serves as a showcase for it’s crystalline musicality to breathe, moving atop a bed of breakbeats and onwards to a transcendent finale.

The second selection ‘Subliminal’ lowers the tempo while continuing the cosmic musical narrative set by its predecessor. Built around a chugging foundation, it’s spacey effects and wispy atmospheres create an otherworldly vibe early on. Moving forward, a more distinct lead melody fades in and out of prominence, while Bodzin-esque sonics and a poignant break add all the goose bump moments you could ever want.

The release concludes with ‘Those Who Do’ which drifts further into hypnotic techno territory. Anchored by a warm and slightly pacier groove, it’s bright tones and chugging rhythms resonate beautifully against a backdrop of fuzzed out bass. Emotive chord changes complement a poignant yet quirky lead line, before coming to full fruition during a shimmering break and pulsating finale. It rounds out a timeless selection of music from Micrologue, one where the German artist’s precision craftsmanship and melodic prowess are on full display. Highly recommended.
