UK label Axe on Wax are back with yet another sublabel, with Saint-Petersburg producer Meowsn’ set to inaugurate it. AOWW001 Too Damn Straight EP compiles 4 fun numbers stacked with nostalgic samples, catchy vocal hooks, jazzy improvisations and bouncy basslines.

Our track is Untitled sitting on A2. An endearing sentimental charm is set from the opening, with a warm glitchy fuzziness wobbling between short, filtered vocal jabs. As the bass kicks start to steady us, we become strapped into a distinctive, feel-good groove held together by a bright chordal melody on jazz keys. Meowsn periodically interrupts the momentum by playfully chucking in some cheeky pauses or energetic vocal samples, and it feels like we’re switching channels on an old colour TV.

Born in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. Started his artist carrer at the age of 12 playing the guitar, but he realized that this instrument was very limited and with the influences and support of his older brother Alexis, soon he started producing tracks in the Progressive Techno genre.
At the age of 16 he started taking piano lessons and started changing his style to a more deep and melodic style which ended up as a deep house, but with a touch of melancholic notes powered by some orchestral sounds.
As an artist he has worked with all of the Rytmika Crew including: Alexiss (aka Apricot, Thomas Pain), Maturana, Valtierra, Peppermint, Van Reed and Mau Valtierra.&nbsp;
One of the goals of his music is to transmit a certain feel trough each track, an emotion. So that the crowd can feel the specific vibe each track has.
