The original was living rent-free in my head for the past month so was really enjoying remixing this one. It was already 170bpm so it was begging to be remixed into a drum n bass track, I've seen some other remixes out there but felt none of them really encapsulated the originals euphoric/feelsy vibe. Droid Bass all started from my debut EP titled ‘Droid Bass’ on Circus Records which hit #3 on the Top 100 Dubstep Beatport Charts and was supported by Artists such as Herobust, Adventure Club, Excision, David Guetta, Figure, Kompany and more. After the success of the EP I decided that this was the sound I wanted to represent my brand and community. In order for this new genre to grow, the tools required to re-produce it needed to be available - which is why I created this pack for everyone. 

I have made over 250+ samples, such as Growls, Basses, one shots, synths, drums, Foley Samples, Vocals and much more all made and recorded from scratch by me!

Now you can make your very own Droid Bass tracks! Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with :)

“All of my tracks I like to create a theme and story to tie in with my ‘Droid Bass’ signature sound, something that you can almost visualise the entirety of. For this track I wanted to tell a story about a robot coming to life and causing mayhem in a city (in the first drop of the track) and to only then later save the same city from another threat (In the second drop) – which I made evident through the contrast from heavy/dark to melodic.” – AXEN
