Tipping point

Music means so much to me. It has always played such an integral and essential part of my life. I have always been drawn to music that is authentic and evokes strong, emotional responses.  It can elicit so many emotions. It can excite, stimulate, awaken, hypnotize, captivate, uplift, inspire, incite, provoke, console, comfort and so many more. I've used music to transport me to another place and provide the escape I need.  I've enjoyed it when music helps me to feel present, grounded and connected to where I am and who I'm with. Music has helped me channel love, light and positivity. It has also helped me channel and process anger, hurt and sadness.

All this is true for the listener and also to the artist, producer, musician and the DJ. When I create my own sets, I tell stories. As I plan them, sometimes the tracks just seem to naturally find their place.  Amid the collection and the curation of tracks, often the story I didn't consciously know I needed to tell takes shape. I respond to and resonate with the tracks and stories created by these and other amazing, visionary, artists. Their spark and creativity allow me to share so many amazing tracks to dance to, enjoy and reflect on.

The vibe was electric inside and the music was being played through the Coco art car PA outside as well, spilling across Syncity.

Due to last minute changes I didn't play on the Coco art car but played upstairs at the absolutely amazing Morning Joint theme camp.  What an incredible experience.

What a beautiful experience to play some tunes among friends to bring in 2020 at Triball.  This set has some pretty deep progressive tech with some melodic, ethno, and techno rhythms.  I had so much fun playing it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.  I've used a couple of these tracks in previous sets so I broke my rule of not repeating tracks, to take you all on this journey that I wanted to bring in the new year with.  I think it paid off. Lockdown Tunes

This time in our lives is unprecedented.  As many of us are feeling upset and angry about world issues and personal circumstances, I can completely relate.  This set has helped me process what we are all going through.  The sample at the start of the set is from a movie called Network, 1976.  I highly recommend watching this movie.   It seems to be just as relevant today as back then, if not more so.  
I am going through the process of acceptance of our situation and am looking to push to my new future.  Help us all by focusing on the positive and not getting dragged down by the negative.  Peace, Jez

Moving Forward - Deep Progressive Tech

As Melbourne goes into corona lock down again, many of us are stressed and on edge.  I am hoping to channel this frustration and the feeling of the unknown in this mix.  Some of this journey channels our frustration of our circumstance and the rest of this journey helps to pave the way to acceptance, progression and new directions.

Lockdown V2.0 - Progressive and Melodic Techno

Burning Seed was very different this year with Covid restrictions and lockdown in full effect in Melbourne, Australia.  Nevertheless, the burner community worked really hard to create an event that so many people still got to share online.  Was great to hang out in the seed sparkleverse and listen, watch and chat using twitch, mixcloud and zoom.
Coco Poco Loco worked hard pre-recording mixes from Melbourne and around Australia and played them over the 3 days.  The wealth and range of good music was fantastic.
I hope you enjoy my set, was so good to play with Coco again this year, even if it wasn't on the paddock.❤️

Axiomatica sets are guaranteed to get you moving with his deep and rythmic track selection.  His sets primarily draw from a wide range of psy tech, bush tech, minimal, prog tech, peak-time and techno. His musical curation and experience will take the dance floor on deep, emotional journey's with purpose.  

From experimenting with vinyl mixing and music production to orchestrating underground events, Jeremy’s passion for electronic music began in Melbourne’s vibrant rave scene in the late '90s.

Axiomatica enjoys playing at private parties, doofs and warehouses. 
Active involvement in organising, setting up, and playing with various crews at festivals and Burns such as Rainbow Serpent, Burning Seed, and Underland have seen him forging new paths within Victoria's bush doof culture, shaping experiences with Freedom Doof, Shadow Alchemy, and Soulah Powah.
