This protagonist of Dolcenera has a curious type of solitude. It is the solitude of a lover, especially if unrequited. He is engulfed by a sort of paranoid dream, in which he erases anything that could come between himself and the object of his desire. It is a parallel story: on one hand, there is the flood that submerged Genoa in '70, and on the other hand, there is this madly in love man waiting for a woman. He is so impulsive in his dream that he even removes her absence, because, in fact, she doesn't arrive. He believes he is making love to her, but she is drowning in the flood. Unfortunately, this type of dream is very similar to that of a tyrant, who tries to remove every obstacle that opposes the exercise of their absolute power.

About Axoff:

Born and raised in a small town in Italy, my love for electronic music ignited at the tender age of 14. The Italian techno scene mesmerized me, and I dove headfirst into DJ sets and music production using FL-Studio. At 15, I got my first taste of the spotlight, when a local DJ asked me to create a techno track for one of his events. From then on, I performed at various venues, but my heart always belonged to music production. Influenced by legends like Carl Cox and Tiesto, I believe in embracing all styles and genres to create top-notch tunes. Growing up in Tuscany, where techno reigned supreme, I seized every opportunity to hone my skills at electronic music events. Now, I'm thrilled to take on an audacious challenge: releasing a fresh track every week in 2023 as a solo artist. Get ready for an electrifying journey!
