Following on from their output on Ram Records, Blackout Music and Eatbrain - Axon records are excited to welcome the Russian-Belarusian trio Psynchro to the family for our 11th release.

On the A side we have ‘Musicolors’. Funky bass lines, beautifully placed melodic elements and chopped vocals combine to build a euphoric dancefloor track, which is set to rock sound systems everywhere it is played.

The trio show their production diversity for side B with a beautiful deep roller. Atmospheric soundscapes intertwined with snappy drums and a low rolling sub bass blend to form an incredible, experimental piece of music.
As we move into a new world, Psynchro push the boundaries of our expectations to create a sound that is fresh, and entirely their own.

Up next, we have ‘Chosen One’. Opening with an ominous atmosphere, this tune quickly drops into deep bassline, driven by sharp drum beat.

Moving on, CrucifyMe provides us with ‘Pena Dura’. Utilizing a similar sound palette that is present across the release, he manages to paint an entirely unique picture. Quick stabs peppered around a bed of pads, swiftly give way to a morphing bassline, powered by intricately placed drums and percussion.

Closing the release is a track entitled ‘Stepping High’. Containing driving drums and a powerful low end, this high energy stomper is sure to ignite any dancefloor.

CrucifyMe once again proves he is one of the most exciting new producers in the Drum and Bass industry. We are honoured to have him onboard a second time round.

For our 14th release, we are honoured to feature Psynchro for a second time, who share an EP alongside label founder, NickBee.

Opening AXR014 we have collaboration between all of the artists involved on the release, who have combined their talent to create a track entitled ‘Polished’. As its name suggests, this clean yet powerful piece of music contains lush atmospheres, peppered with angelic melodic and vocal stabs which set rich, thick backdrop. Swiftly transitioning into snappy tech driven drums and a punchy bassline, its sure to be a staple for sets across the globe this summer.

Next up, NickBee displays his elite production talents on ‘Alchemical’. Utilizing his signature snappy drums to guide the track, he responds to their hits with a lively and percussive bass line.

To close the EP, Psynchro deliver the heavy hitting ‘Basic Elements’. Unlike the name suggests, this complex techy roller delivers an onslaught of high energy drums, juxtaposed by a powerful modulated and driving bassline. This track effortlessly shows why this production trio have gained so much recognition in the relatively short time they have been involved with the drum and bass scene.

For AXR015, we welcome Dutch duo Binary back to Axon Records with a three track EP.

Opening the release, we have the EPs namesake, ‘About You’. Starting with an atmospheric drop, a bed of pads and melodic stabs give way to building toms and percussion, which break into a techy dance floor roller. With strong low-end elements and snappy drums, it’s a strong start from Binary.

‘Plexus’ is the second track on this release. This futuristic, techy and punchy track is quick to launch. Featuring plucky leads, rolling drums and pulsating basslines, it is guaranteed to rumble sound systems across the globe.

To close, Binary provide us with ‘Frequent’. Containing a modulated plucky bass line and driving top line melodies, this energetic dancefloor track is a powerful ending to this incredible EP.
