"Like opening a door to the unknown or an invitation to a very familiar and intimate place. Crossing that door or inhabiting that place, we make ourselves comfortable, keep silence and listen to a record. This is With Eyes Closed by ABSIS, an invitation to recollection and silence with the sole objective of surrendering ourselves to the pleasure of music and electronic synthesis.

In this release, Absis displays a somewhat obsessive and compulsive mastery of machines. Pure and hard synthesis in search of the perfect sound or at least the sound that the artist is imagining. There are seven tracks that at the beginning call us to contemplation and introspection and that evolves into a collective call to share a dance floor; in short, it is a complete, circular and fantastic album, in the strictest and most literal sense of the word.

In With Eyes Closed each sound occupies its right and proper place, respecting each of its frequencies, its brilliance and intentions. In it, nothing exists just for the sake of it, on the contrary, each element has a function and a role to play within a fantasy: pure and hard synthesis of a remarkable cleanliness and lucidity.

Crossing that door or inhabiting that place it is inevitable to close our eyes, it is a natural and instinctive reflex, as if we wanted to turn off the other senses and surrender ourselves to the ear. Closing our eyes, the music enters through our skin and becomes part of us."

Here we are with our sixth exhibition! The talented French producer Adhémar and the super hypnotic Italian duo Primal Code will star in it. All of this will be framed by an incredible painting by Vincent Van Gogh.

The Starry Night is a painting by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, made in 1889 and kept in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. A true icon of Western painting, the painting depicts a nocturnal landscape of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just before sunrise.

ACCENTVA007 - Various Artists 007 is a kind of state of the art, a mapping of the contemporary deep experimental and techno music scene. This musical work is without any doubt the most consequent and ambitious release of the label. It is a question here of showing through nearly 2h30 of music the beauty and diversity of the current musical scene, of what it has of specific, here and there, through the glances of artists from all over the world, emerging or now known, women and men. Each of them has added a stone to the edifice by marking an original sound piece with his signature. Premiere: Toki Fuko - Aché

As soon as the pulsating bassline of 'Cuarcita' kicks in, you know you're in for a mind-bending ride. The track's hypnotic groove grabs you by the ears and doesn't let go, transporting you to a world of deep, dark techno that pulses with a raw energy that is hard to resist. The intricate layering of sounds and textures adds an almost mystical quality to the track as if you're exploring some ancient temple deep in the heart of the jungle. The way the different elements of the track build and evolve is nothing short of masterful, creating a soundscape that is both mesmerizing and exhilarating.

Estrato Aurora's production skills are truly on display in 'Cuarcita,' showcasing a deep understanding of the genre and an unerring ability to craft a track that grabs hold of your senses and doesn't let go. The crisp, clean percussion is perfectly balanced against the driving bassline, creating a rhythm section that is both relentless and deeply satisfying. AH&N is an a anonymous artist from France driven by curiosity and a quest to develop his musical instinct.

Incorporating both analog gear, digital synths, and field recordings, AH&N tries to build an expanding sonic universe and craft tracks that blend the frontier between organic and synthetic soundscapes.

His creative process relies mainly on playful experimentation with sound sources and effects until a particular texture catches his attention. He then looks to help that musical idea unfold naturally, as if it spontaniously called for other elements to complement it, while doing his best to prevent his overthinking tendencies from having a say. He feels this intuition-based approach relies on the time he spends nurturing his musical curiosity, and he is deeply grateful for the many boundary-pushing artists that inspire him by constantly offering new variations of established concepts.

He is interested in the meditative dimension of repetitive and textured music, as well as in the collective hysteria that can arise during trance-inducing musical journeys. He believes carefully crafted music can help listeners establish a deep connection with the present moment, and guide people in learning to let go and find inner peace. An ethos reflected in his artist name, "Attention. Here & Now.", a reference to writer Aldoux Huxley.

The album is centered on an imaginary ritual of inward exploration, meant to uncover buried facets of our psyche. Through a solitary ceremony, it reveals our disconnection from ourselves and encourages us to surrender to our shadows, so as to, hopefully, get one step closer to stillness.

It begins with a gentle invitation to enter our unconscious, using a language of sound that echoes a long-forgotten collective memory. As the tracks progress, the ritual brings us to deeper layers of our minds. Soundscapes morph and seem increasingly alien, the frontier between known and unknown becomes blurred, while ultimately we are simply brought to face a reflection of our inner selves.

There is a Buddhist term for the word "Koquukai (虚空界)".
It means the world of "Shinnyo (真如)", which is the essential world that encompasses and embraces everything, without colour and without form. Everything is in the space of nothingness.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of ABSIS's second EP on the Affin label, titled "Silent Voices." Building on the foundations of his previous work, ABSIS has introduced new facets to his sound, crafting an EP that is both innovative and deeply engaging.

"Silent Voices" showcases a more dancefloor-driven component, seamlessly blending it with a distinctive dubby sound signature. This combination results in tracks that are rhythmically compelling yet atmospherically rich, offering a fresh take on his music.

Unlike much of today's output aimed at being played out, ABSIS's "Silent Voices" approaches the dance floor from a different angle. The music is thoughtfully crafted to create an immersive experience, encouraging listeners to lose themselves in its intricate layers and nuanced production...
