Continuing his assault on the Proton Music catalogues, Rick Pier O'Neil's 'One Side of the Underground' created an impressive combination of original and remix material. Part of September 2018's Vol. 2, 'Another Side' now receives a pair of new remixes on Yin and Yang.

Hailing from the Colombo capital, Danidu Parinda & Hasith Balasuriya are both successful artists in their own rights. Influenced by icons of the underground dance scene, Danidu hit the headlines with his 'Venna' EP for We Are The Underground in January 2019, while other work for Hydrogen and Massive Harmony have continued a growing portfolio. Similarly, Hasith has seen a nascent production career influenced by the iconic names of Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo and as a regular on such behemoths as BC2, 3xA and Tuxedo's Electronic Tree. 

Joining forces in July 2018 with a remix of Sleg's 'Arusman' for Massive Harmony, a pair of further reworks for PHW Elements and Soundteller now see Danidu & Hasith debut on Yang. Their bouncing, groove-oriented affair combines dancefloor rhythms with a series of pulsating melodic sequences that bristle with verve and dynamism. Taking O'Neil's motifs as a starting point, the Sri Lankan duo have created a raft of original phrases that work intelligently alongside original components in the track's second half.

"Greg is returning to TSM with a solo EP inspired by the Russian Sci-Fi writer, Kir Bulychev's amazing novel 'The Settlement'. Even though all the 3 tracks are dancefloor oriented peak time music, the atmosphere of the EP is deeply rooted in that extraordinary story. It doesn't matter where you listen to this release - on a dancefloor or on the streets with earbuds - you can truly feel the tension and excitement that run through the book in these synth oriented melodic tunes. 'The eleventh EP of Infinite Depth is in the name of a Dutch newcomer, who goes by the name of Rowdy. The label is delighted to give him the chance to show the world his first ever release, called 'Shattered Eye'. The EP contains three original tracks, without any remix this time, to give the full spotlight to this talent. 

The first track is called 'Neural Awake'. His already created signature sound becomes obvious through the crispy percussion, combined by the heavy lower-end and bombastic kicks. On this lower-end is floating a pretty melancholic and orchestral lead, which leads you through the track, while climbing to its climax.

The title track of the EP, 'Shattered Eye', is all about the aggressive and monstrous sound, which you won't hear every day. It drags you through the tracks and appears at the moment you won't expect it. The more driving kick-bass combination, together with the claps and other crispy percussion, even brings a certain groove to the track. 

The melancholic and emotional charged melody of 'Neural Awake' lives on trough the lead of 'Circle of Collisions'. In this track it's only taken to a darker level. In this way the track gives a mysterious, but dignified end to the EP.'
