Mathame refine their singular sound on ‘Skywalking’ and a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. Stylo and Space Motion, two of our current favorite producers join forces for a massive EP in Be Again / Last Siren.

With a strong vocal theme the track 'Be Again' leads the A side of the EP. An infectious rolling bass line sets the mood for all the atmospheres that surround it, with hypnotic melodies and well defined ambiences putting its listeners in a total state of inner trance.

On the B side of this EP Stylo and Space Motion bring total darkness with 'The Last Siren'. A powerful and groovy bass line brings the cadence while the super elaborate fx and drum work define this track into a one of kind. But the cherry on top of this record is definably the melodies that echo a siren sound as the title of the track suggests, simply genius.

An inspired collaboration which delivers more than the sum of its parts.

Innellea and Kevin De Vries have both broken through in the past couple of years, pushing distinctive, high-energy sounds for the floor. On the ‘Hoffnungsschimmer’ EP, the colourful tones of Innellea’s synth work and Kevin’s hard-hitting drama are a perfect match, resulting in three diverse and unique creations. ‘Das Licht’ and ‘Mondfinsternis’ are both euphoric, peak-time efforts full of stirring elements and forward motion. The title track’s more downtempo atmosphere and breakbeats balance the EP into a rounded whole.
