Choosing between commitment to yourself or another can feel mutually exclusive. I was in a cycle of infatuation, but then turning and running when my perceived freedom was compromised. 'runnin' is a story of burning desire, but not all the way. Trying to believe it's right, but never convinced. Knowing my darkness, and warning the other. In this story, ultimately, I made the selfish choice and focused on my dreams.
