After 22 light-years Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems keeps exploring space and time with different musical means. Staying true to the project’s initial mission statement, Slater comments on the new yet familiar musical direction: “For me music has to go forward. I’d feel I was cheating by sticking to tried and tested formulas. Renowned Frankfurt-based producer Anthony Rother delivers an otherworldly release on Rekids offshoot, Stranger in The Night.

Very few electronic music artists stand the test of time but German electro pioneer and visionary, Anthony Rother, is one of them. Whether running labels like Psi49Net, Stahl Industries and Datapunk or working alongside the likes of Sven Väth, DJ Hell and Kraftwerk’s Karl Bartos, Rother’s legacy stands tall. Having made recent appearances on DVS1’s Mistress or Danny Daze’s OMNIDISC, Rother now connects with Stranger In The Night, joining a tight roster of luminaries including King Britt, Fred P and label boss Radio Slave.

‘We Are The Future’ opens the package with sci-fi synths, a decaying vocal and arpeggiated highs, before ‘Super Future Metropolis’ continues the theme with ultramodern vocoding and industrial drum patterns. Following on, ‘The Message’ sweeps in with laser-like stabs and a leading lyrical sample until two new perspectives conclude the package: the multilayered ‘We Are The Future (D-Cut)’ with its intricate keys and a ‘Space Mix’ of ‘The Message’ which widens the audio journey with lightly flowing pads.

Anthony Rother - Super Future Metropolis

Following up an array of functional club tools, 'made of CONCRETE' invite Linearis to offer up a pack of versatile and idiosyncratic tracks, while dub techno producer El Choop returns on remix duties.

Exploring the outer fringes of the 4/4 realm, 'Differences' delves into unexpected sound territories without losing touch with ground zero. Sub-heavy drums mix with cinematic pads and raw breaks on 'LDB', the genre-bending opener, while 'Trim FX' takes it back to the dancefloor with a highly energetic yet fluid, progressive cut. 'Slow Fade' explores a more melancholic side of techno, with its stripped back atmosphere and echoing dubs. El Choop gives the track a distinguishing treatment, amping up the atmospherics into a resonant, raw number.

I want to share with you this fifth episode of my B2B space. This time with Gefangen Intrance aka Toko. Great and talented DJ, which many of us know him, with his personal, exquisite and great progressive style. I want to highlight the great session that has taken place, with a fantastic selection of great tracks, executed in a superb way. Have been a really pleasure and honor to work with him, always predisposed and always grateful. All my thanks to him. I hope you have fun and enjoy with this collaboration. A big hug of us. Bio Gefangen Intrance :

Gefangen Intrance aka Toko, short for his real name Torsten Koths, started collecting cassettes in his early childhood and later switched to vinyl. What started with cellar parties in the parents' home, evolved into an adult age to hang up in the NRW Clubscene as well as in the trendy Poison Club at the Dusseldorf main station. He was most influenced by the New Wave era and the then Scene Club Tribehouse in Neuss.
This time he experienced with one of his best friends. Together in the club scene they were trapped in music and in a trance. After his boyfriend died in 2010, Toko decided to change his name to Gefangen Intrance. As it was a great desire of the two to make music together, Toko decided for a fundamental change and brought the site gefangen Intrans to life . His passion and devotion to music is greater today than ever. With each set, he wants to tell us a story and take us on a journey through space and time.

GADIN, also known as AYÇA ERDAĞI, had begun her career as an architect, however, the similarity of music and architecture which aim to make people happier by creating the new, affected her deeply. Therefore, continued a career as a DJ by playing in Joker, Taksim in the genre of house and deep house, in 2013. Since she started playing, Gadın, has broadened her music archive successfully and nowadays, she concentrates on techno music beside disco and tech-house in her performances. She also carries on her works by participating in radio programs in addition by taking a stage in the different places of İstanbul and feasts. As well as being a DJ, she improves herself in the very field of production.
