In this take for a Chapter Rewritten of Aethercrest, Cavalier+Lancer swap with Codeline. Codeline doesn’t get a Lancer equivalent, basically back to the whole fetch quest thing. Codeline is renamed to Aceline, in the light world, they are a Ace of Hearts. She asks you to fetch Potasskey pieces to unlock her from her prison… which is a boxing ring. Just like Codeline, she wants to change the world back to the older more simpler ways of life, when nothing was complicated and easy to understand. Due to that, she was locked away by Masterman, Musical Bards, and her best friend… Tasuku Manējā… within a cell, underneath Masterman’s great theater, deep backstage. With Dess, Kris and Noll, accepting this whole fetch quest, she believes she can complete her mission and make the world how it should be. For her item she drops after sparing her, it is the “Aceboots”, it provides +2AT, +2DF, and +2 Magic, they are green, white and cyan colored boots that somehow, every step you take, you seem to here someone laughing. For her item she drops after fighting her, it is the “Puncher Gloves”, it provides +5AT, +4 Magic, and drops Red Slash TP DOWN, everytime you use it, you seem to hear a battle cry with each punch.
