Deep Electronics is presenting it's 24th special chapter. These special releases are unique sets created by unique artists. This time Axis Operandi brings us a mixtape with just hypnotic techno. 

About Axis Operandi:
Leader of music platform and series of events - Biotechnology which is focused on promotion of
psychedelic, cosmic, organic and hypnotic sounds in techno and broadly defined electronic music. In his DJ-sets, he is looking for a balance between deep, trance, minimalistic and ambient-soaked techno and leftfield or tribal beats. He occasionally weaves elements of minimal house or electro into his sets. In his DJ and promoter activity he tries to convince his listeners that sets grown out of techno do not have to be mainly strong or mainly dark in their expression, that there is space for a whole range of
emotions in the 4/4 area. He performed at events signed by such brands as Up to date festival, Instytut, Revive, Fort open air,
999 or Ars Independent. He shared the stage with such artists as eg. Edit Select, Shlomo, AWB, VSK, TAKA, Freddy K or Justine Perry.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene in Leipzig, Germany with its well known Institut fuer Zukunft his focus are impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark and eerie atmospheres. As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area. For a few years now he has been exploring the world of producing. Releasing Tracks on Labels like Aarden Records, Crescent London, Further Sessions, Proselytizing or Charybdis and various Podcasts he is establishing himself in the scene always seeking to refine his sound.

We are very happy to welcome Vanta as the second creative head in our mixtape series.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ ALAN BACKDROP

Straight from Northern Italy, Alessio Meneghello or better known for his moniker Alan Backdrop, has been alluring his listeners through his productions characterized with deep atmospheres and a mixture of different genres. Simply put, Alan’s fascination is a reflection of his passion for electronic music and inspiration he gets from the world around.
He is the kind of producer that certainly enjoys his studio jam sessions—this is the reason why he spends most of the time in his studio tweaking knobs on synthesizers, recording and experimenting with the aim to capture and create his exceptional sound.
Alan Backdrop released his debut album, VR Plan, in 2013 on Prologue, an album that includes some of his pioneering tracks, such as “Cherber,” “Medel,” and “Siere.” Shortly, he managed to create his second album, Eria, released in 2014 on Ekar Records, label and platform with which he has a long-lasting relationship and where he released a big part of his discography. He recently joined Mental Modern and Semantica Records where he kicked out some 12".
Alessio's side project is a_000, born from the unprompted come across of him and Enrico Rlt, which resulted in the creation of "Road to Nauta", the very first wax from Ekar Records and "Ness Reworks 001", a 12" containing two original tracks plus two remixes from the label founder and friend Ness.
In addition to spending most of the time in his studio, Alan Backdrop performs in various festivals—the latest in which he performed were Modem Festival and Parallel— and in different clubs and musical events. Fascinated by electronic music and concentrated in the realization of atmospheric musical journeys is the best way to describe Alan Backdrop.

Dear friends, we are all living through a really difficult moment in these days. We must stay positive, and music can be a great help in releasing some of the stress and sadness we are experiencing. 

Exactly 2 years ago I released my debut album on @thegodsplanet . This was an amazing opportunity - I had the challenge to demonstrate myself as a deep techno artist in the scene, and DJ’s and even magazines like @resident-advisor , @monument-podcast , @orbmag and @clubbingspain reacted with positive feedback.

To commemorate this special moment i made a unique continuous mix, slowing down the tracks and changing the tonalities, making the mood even more ethereal. 🙂

Ness is a dj and producer born and raised in Sardinia, acknowledged for his style over a decade of music with a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning. He gradually developed a distinct technique with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic rhythms. Having performed in some of the most relevant clubs and festivals around the globe, he steadily releases music and collaborates with several renowned techno labels within the scene. With experience as label manager through the years with partnership on Mono Records and The Gods Planet, he later established his spin off project label Ness Reworks in 2018. Ness music and dj set are well accepted and defined as an exploration of wide range of deep hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.
