My personal favourite track on Desert Phase is Eye Of The Storm. It's got one hell of a hook to it, and it somehow draws evergy from the very fabric of the universe and throws down into an organic drum n' bass grinfest before retreating into a final section that is the sound of Shpongle being eaten for breakfast and spat out on the kitchen floor.

Some sound for meditating to that presented itself and wanted to be listened to whilst I was playing for dance class for Freddie Opoku-Addaie (hence the name 'Fred's Med'). By chance it turned out to be 16'16" long, which for some reason I find pleasing.

Probably more of listen-to as a specific sound meditation rather than just an ambient background - but I could be wrong.

A little game: Imagine you had ears in the chest / heart area of your body and play with the idea of how they would listen to this sound ...

Fred's Med

A short-ish bit of sound for meditation or (on loop) for an atmosphere to live and work in.

Basically just one chord (somewhere in between B flat and B) going higher, going lower … but there's something very tender about it somehow.
