Dark and peculiar, 'Black Heart' provides insight on how the Femcee Aynjewl Faycc (pronounced angel face) feels about love as a grown woman of 30 years. Although Faycc has been rapping/singing since age 9, she has never digitally distributed any single-release officially. After her recent research on promotion, she recognizes how important singles are and will continue to release all her songs in this format.

As a single woman— after loosing three children to the state in 2015, love has always been a serious subject. For details on this matter please purchase the book "Gift of the Indigo" on Amazon published by her mother, Laura Desisto. Although Faycc may want to find a husband someday, her goal to become famous is currently taking priority over that due to her tragic past.

There are many reasons that could cause a woman OR man to have a black heart. The underlying cause relates to the absence of love in ones life. 'Black Heart' attempts to amplify the thoughts and emotions felt by those suffering from a black heart and like the #MeToo movement, expose existence.

Many hit songs focus on joy and excitement. Although her favorite rapper Z-Ro from Missouri City, Texas apologized for not making happy songs on his track 'Another Song', Faycc has no apologies for putting out music that presents deep emotions that many choose not to visit. It is NOT her goal to make people feel depressed; her intention is to bring darkness to light.

She expressed how important it is for us as a culture to stop turning the other cheek when people express something that is unfamiliar to us. It has always been a strength of Faycc to look danger in the eye because she believes that facing fears is the only way to evolve. In honor of her statement, challenging listeners to HEAR her music instead of just listening to it is on the table.

Black Heart

Looking close enough to a desert, Faycc drove out five hours from Missouri City, Texas to South Padre Island, Texas to shoot her music video “Dam You Make Me Hawt”. In the video Faycc is rocking another original design created DIY as a true independent artist. Although her style was risky, she was lucky enough that an acquaintance came through for her. 

The island was expecting a hurricane, but the rain cleared up for the shoot. After two takes of of the song and some b-roll footage, the two were walking back to Faycc’s car and the patrol came over. The officer informed them that there was no parking or traffic allowed and the beaches were closed. Faycc says that event sequences like this are “pretty divine”.  Even though she strives for perfection, she likes to think that perfection has its own idea—its about flowing with it.

On the ride back, somehow she ended up driving into a boarder checkpoint in which the dogs smelled marijuana. They showed the officials their stash and left it on the dash as they were asked to stand aside for a further search. The agent informed Faycc that marijuana was not legal in the state nor federally— however, he never asked to see any ID’s. 

Upon re-entry to the vehicle their stash was not on the dash and neither one of them thought much of it since they were not in trouble. Faycc joked about the officers smoking it, but the next day she was going through her glove box and found everything!
