BENDI was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in Portsmouth, VA. Bendi uploaded her first cover video in 2016 to the Virginia native Missy Elliot song featuring Monica - “So Gone.” Kali’s cover went from 0 to 290k within 3 months. She then covered the “Ten Toes Down Challenge,” which also gained 280k within 3 months of posting it. That alone took her Youtube subscribe’s to over 6k. Bendi didn’t start taking her music career serious until 2021 when she decided to fly to Cali to meet a producer who will be 
Producing all of her future tracks . Bendi  is currently working on her first EP called “L.M.A” which will consist of 5 songs that are intended for the millennial audience to turn up to after this pandemic.
