It is high time in some countries of the northern part of the globe that the sunlight comes back to life and nature starts to bloom after this winter. With worried hearts we all observe that the seasons begin to lose their stability, but still we can say that the last winter has been quite cold in many places of the world. 
It is lovely how the very talented artist Owl took over this episode. He begins the first half of the story with very profound textural and harmonic ambient pieces which mirror the hibernation of nature during winter. It feels like waking up from a long sleep as the first beat comes in. It slowly evolves with a captivating aquatic vibe which mirrors the blooming of nature in spring.

Seasonal Shift 008 - Owl

No. 59 comes from Tom Huthwohl aka BLNDR. Waves and waves of hypnotising sounds.
 
@BLNDR is a French electronic music producer based in Paris.
Deep beats, percussions and atmospheric elements have always played an important role in his music. BLNDR took his first steps in electronic music by releasing his first EP on @Hypnus records in 2014.
Since then he has been collaborating with artists like Luigi Tozzi & AWB and releasing on various labels like @kizenrecords, @nonplus-records or @intervisionparis a label he also runs with his friends DJ Varsovie, Panzer & Paulie Jan. 
In 2022 BLNDR released his new vinyl with his new label @Prosophone. A vinyl label whose goal is to develop his own vision of electronic music and its various forms while presenting a new side project called Traevor and including a remix of Forest Drive West.

Black Wave 059: BLNDR

So excited to welcome BLNDR to the series, a long-awaited delight after observing the French producer develop his magnetic and kaleidoscopic sound over the years. BLNDR's mix is glimmering and atmospheric, reflective of the patient and meticulous nature inhabiting his work as both BLNDR and his more-recent Traevor alias. Voiced in a heartfelt tone and assembled with a poet's touch, this set is a soft yet spry landing to an intense season, breathing a new air, fluttering to a new rhythm, earnest to the very end. I enjoyed this one immensely and I hope you will too. Thanks Tom!
