The creation process and source of inspiration for the song Ripples in Time and Space came from a dream of mine. In the dream, I saw a scene I had never seen before. In the depths of a lush forest, I was in a huge transparent two-story house. This house has come to me several times in my dreams, maybe it is Jung's psychological phenomenon. When I walked into the house, the outside of the house suddenly turned into another scene of huge waves—a stone stirred up thousands of waves, and I was in it, surrounded by the house, and the water and stone were close in front of my eyes. So I was running around the house, escaping these layers of waves that were coming at me, the house was shaking like a surfboard, I was escaping from this transparent room to that transparent room.Because of the epidemic, people's lives have been greatly affected and changed, which has also caused me to be in a state of disconnection in the past few years. The gap from reality to internal consciousness, from aesthetics to cognition, has made me gradually turn from the outside to the inside, because the external aesthetics of the people and things around me have long been unsatisfied, and I am still going backwards. The past few years of magical reality have made me feel a huge sense of alienation from my surroundings. Maybe this is the fundamental reason why I have such a dream. The sense of sight in the dream is no less than that of surfing on the sea in reality, So I woke up and started to look up information related to my dream.
