can I just say the lyrics here are like.. so fitting? They fit both Varik and Gaster. "Hidden in the shadows, I was Lost in the darkness, confiding my heart A fearful, lonely traveler Seeking the light, let's create a path". You could see the lonely traveler as Varik trying to start a better and new life. Alternatively you could see this as Gaster finding the uthh world or some other interpretation.

this song is in one of my playlists and I listen to it when im walking outside nighttime or going to center city (city in philadelphia). seeing the bright lights and listening to this is such a vibe

reminds me of that effect the song "Atlas - Battles" has on its vocals, where there's a "source" voice hidden underneath the main one

Track Trivia:
--- This was for an idea that I had which was basically "what if I did 'underfellproject', but instead of only using original melodies I only use one soundfont?" I really only made this one track because I don't think I can ever do another UFP lol xP.
--- The Heartache breakdown was supposed to embody a feeling that the Heartache melody was being held in throughout the whole song, but eventually just spilled out in a wave of emotions for Asgore.
--- This is technically an Underswap track, but it kind of just feels like a oblique ASGORE arrangement.
