Morning Blossoms

Morning Blossoms - naviarhaiku500

I created a piano ballad with a modern approach, using a lot of major 7th chords, while keeping in mind the Goldberg Variations. It is written from a philosophical point of view about a child who is tired of playing and devouring sleep on a hot summer day.

＜Lyrics in English＞
Relentless blue.
Along the unimaginably thick
concrete wall
that sinks into its depths,
a black one sleeps ravenously

It is engraved with
a few sharp straight shadows
and surrounded by the smell of
dried grass and a little water.

Motionless
and almost shapeless,
the black one uses
the abundant summer light
for black sleep.

Sleep is everything now,
and to be aware of sleep is almost meaningless.
In that case, this summer and this perspective
are metaphysical

Only the temperature difference due to shadows
remains physically
Only the smell of grass and water
remain in memory

From the beginning,
there has been that sleep
