Another one ambient side-project of mine, created for a commercial demo video by a sports brand. In this track, I decided to merge the sound of the shakuhachi flute with the mystical metallic tones of the pandrum. It's all wrapped in deep ambient pads and crisp percussion inspired by the style of Michael Cretu.

I always find myself to go back to old burial tunes. The "Untrue" album is still one of my all time favourites. Especially tunes like "Ghost Hardware", "Untrue" and his remix of Bloc Party's "Where Is Home?" speak to me in a very personal way. Those tracks have a very organic feeling and it inspires/motivates me to do whatever I want to do. 

Since William Bevan has not made anything in his old style in a long time, I decided to challenge myself. I wanted to see how far I could come mimicking his sound. From reading every interview I could find to learn about his views on music to searching for samples he used in the past, to come as close to this style as possible. 

I hope you don't see this as a poor Burial rip off, but as a song I created, to slowly get closer to this rare style of music I've always loved.
