With Guy J’s eagerly anticipated third artist album drawing ever closer on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, the first offering is delivered in the form of three intricately crafted productions titled ‘Nirvana’.

Forever drawing influence from contrasting styles, genres and concepts, Guy J has become synonymous with creating innovative and out of the box productions such as ‘1000 Words’ which received an array of solid reviews from leading publications within the music industry. Adhering to exactly that fashion, Nirvana embraces his eclectic and much envied ability of being able to produce a varying catalogue of tracks of the highest stature.

A pivotal element of John Digweed’s Bedrock imprint, his forthcoming album is a showcase of all his favored diverse sounds compiled into a two CD’s of the highest caliber.

Never being content with constructing a linear style of productions, ‘Nirvana’s’ euphoric sounding riffs and elegantly composed percussion display Guy J’s versatility as an electronic artist, where as ‘Provokoter’s’ distorted rhythmic composition creates a darkened tone for all those listening. 

Carrying a wealth of experience on his shoulders, coupled with being supported by the underground music’s most profound names, ‘Nirvana’ is a sublime insight to the forthcoming album. Once again his unique and personal touch is easily recognizable thanks to a solid swinging groove in which background oriental melodies rise naturally and fluently up until a dreaming breakdown in which energies seem to soften. But it's just an illusion. The drop is behind the corner, ready to make this hymn-like melody explode in a way you won't easily forget.On the B side, Hernan Cattaneo and Soundexile refresh their original track slowing down the beat and creating a syncopate rhythm, perfectly fitted with the original main melody and enhanced by a hot bass line with an acoustic touch, the warmth of which creates a unique atmosphere in this downtempo track that once again proves Hernan Cattaneo's and Soundexile's great skills in the studio.

Fresh from providing Nātiv Records’ first-ever release last year via Freedom Call / Electro Shock, renowned UK artist Nick Warren has made an anticipated return to the label  with Dead Eyes Opened. The three release is a collaboration with Argentinian producer Nicolas Rada.

Nick described how his formative club years were an inspiration behind the release, stating: “I can remember dancing to Dead Eyes Opened by Severed Heads in a nightclub called The Coven in Oxford in the early 80's. I loved it and have always wanted to do a cover. I finally got around to copying the melodies and Nic Rada loved the idea, so this is what we came up with.”
