Sascha Dive delivers his latest album ‘Back 2 Life’ this December, marking Bondage Music’s 15th anniversary.

Frankfurt-based talent Sascha Dive has a long and esteemed history within house music, releasing material via 8Bit, Raum-Musik and Kwench alongside his own Deep Vibes Recordings, while featuring in Cocoon Recordings, long-standing, ‘In The Mix’ series and gaining support from label boss Sven Väth alongside the likes of Guy Gerber, Maya Jane Coles and Laurent Garnier. He now returns to Bondage Music to mark the imprints’ 15th anniversary with fifteen essential house cuts across his ‘Back 2 Life’ LP - delivering the label’s second ever album in the process.

Dive opens up with the luxurious ‘Whispering Voices’ and ‘This Is My Journey’, two tracks fueled by twinged vocals, glimmering motifs, and dubby chords. The temperature rises on ‘My Life’, before the acidic ripples and spoken words of Messy MC on ‘In The Darkness’ unveils a subliminal slice of electronica.

‘Time Waits For No Man’ sees a standout collaboration alongside the iconic Robert Owens, while resonant kicks and evolving melodies can be found on ‘A Silver Lining on The Horizon’.
The second half unveils further entrancing productions such as ‘Interview With An Alien’, as progressing effects wrap around minimalist-style programming, while ‘Moonwalker’ and ‘Let’s Get It On’ lean towards deep house territories, alongside the up-beat and sun-drenched reverberations of ‘Dreaming Es Verda’ and ‘Tell Me When’.

A vibrant, dynamic and imbued collection of tracks, ‘Back 2 Life’ delivers a far-reaching album showcasing an essential milestone for both Dive and Bondage-Music while celebrating a long-standing partnership in style.

Steve Kelley began almost 20 years ago as a DJ having played for some of the largest and respected brands in dance music, his knowledge of house music in all its forms is formidable. Steve’s deep and chunky approach fits perfectly with Steve Bug’s Sublease Music. 

Paradise is an expertly crafted deep cut with a euphoric vibe, bringing to mind sunsets in Ibiza and smiling faces on dancefloors. Sparks Might Fly kicks off with a fat groove and subtle chord stabs before dropping a sick bassline and some nice change ups, building up a deep, irresistible atmosphere.

Everybody’s favourite Adrian Hour is finally back on SNOE, and this time he has joined forces with his phenomenal friend Ale Castro. Both hailing from beautiful Argentina and living and breathing music, you know this combination can’t go wrong. Stacked with rhythm, their track “Club der Misionaere” lifts off the ground with acid inspired synths and impeccable drum work. As a genre transcending ode to curiosity and the appreciation for a good life, we move between the catchy groove and dreamy synths. It is just as wicked as life itself can be, promising sunrises, sunsets and never-ending nights filled with new experiences. SNOE label boss himself, Andreas Henneberg, joins in on the fun as he takes on the remix duty for the track. In classic Henneberg-style the remix oozes of sweaty club nights, with a rough groove and naughty, playful synths that twirl around ever-changing percussions. After their excellently crafted ‘Reaction’ EP last September, Extrasketch boss Butane and decades-long collaborator Andras Toth join forces yet again as their work evolves to find its most dancefloor spirit yet. Building on their deep and expansive solo and collaborative catalogues, this May the pair unveil three fresh productions across their latest EP ‘Tribe | Danse | Caste’.

The eerie and tipped-out ‘Tribe’ opens things on a distinctly wonky, off-kilter techno tip, with slick percussion and a warping synthetic bassline driving things into deepest territories. ‘Danse’ brings a wealth of organic textures to the fore, with rolling drums meeting a transcendental, mysterious woodwind melody. ‘Caste’ closes the show with a tough, club-ready low-end and deep ethereal vocal chants.
