"Not The Way" was a six month collaborative effort between AzR and fellow New York based producers, Krush. Together, they created an energetic Prog-House tune that infuses Krush's soaring synth leads and climactic drops with the nostalgic indie-pop vocals of AzR. The final product is a unique American approach to EDM, well-suited for both inside and outside the club.

Grimes - Genesis (AzR Remix)

Singer-songwriter turned DJ/producer, AzR creates EDM with a twist: He writes, produces and sings on his productions. His work has appeared on BBC Radio, national TV promos, and has raked in over 360,000 YouTube views. In February 2012, his production for Sirius XM radio won him $10,000 in a remix contest. 

AzR's music is a combination of melodic chord progressions, progressive house grooves and indy-pop vocals, creating an instantly recognizable sound that appeals to both EDM and pop fans alike. His vocals are meaningful, with an honesty and sincerity that encapsulates the bitter-sweet feelings of youth.
