【About Prana】
1990年Tsuyoshi SuzukiとNick Taylor の二人がPRANAを結成。イギリスのレーベルInter 1 RecordsやDragonfly Recordsなどからリリースされたコンピレーションアルバムにて楽曲をリリース。その後Nick Taylorのオーストラリア移住に伴い、新メンバーとしてMedichine Drum、Bamco de GaiaのメンバーであったAndy Guthrieが正式加入。1996年にはセカンドアルバム「Geomantik」をリリースし、当時イスラエル、ヨーロッパ、日本でスマッシュヒットを記録。2000年Tsuyoshi Suzukiが日本へ拠点を移しPRANAとしての活動を休止していたが、20013年末に開催されたMatsuri Digital主催のカウントダウンイベントにてフルメンバーでの復活ライブを機に活動を再開。2022年より2023年末のニューアルバムリリースへ向け制作に取り掛かっている。

Matsuri Digital is delighted to announce a release that is sure to thrill psychedelic dance music lovers: the first release of a new track by Prana in the 21st century - Sense of Unity.

To celebrate the approaching 30th anniversary of the legendary project Prana, the three musicians who were part of the group in its two original incarnations - Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Nick Taylor, and Andy Guthrie - have joined forces to create a series of releases, the first of which is this amazing new single.

The first track to be released that features all three members of the group working together - something that never happened even in the 90s - Sense of Unity has all the classic hallmarks of vintage Prana while taking advantage of advances in production and composition. With catchy riffs, uplifting patterns, and lots of momentum, Sense of Unity is bound to become a classic like its predecessors ... and this is just a taste of what is yet to come for the band's 30th anniversary!

Sense of Unity is available on September 29 - be sure to get it and prepare to blast off!

Sense of Unity

PRANA - Sense Of Unity

A mix I created at the invitation of Marios Makar of Total Eclipse for his Dice Radio program. It was requested in late September and the due date ended up being days after the attack on a party in our community that has shaken our scene and the world dramatically. 

I was not particularly in the mood to hear music but gathered my forces and focused on channeling my emotions and energy into creating this story. 

Beginning with the track Reboot (live mix by Etnica & Pleiadians) and ending with Sense of Unity, the new production by Prana (the first time the three musicians from the two incarnations of the group have come together to create a track), I thought that 'Reboot Unity' would be an appropriate title - a concept very much on my mind from the beginning to the end of this mix and very much at the forefront of my thoughts these days with the awful violence and divisiveness that's plaguing the world right now. 

May we all experience, embody, and connect with each other from that innate sense of unity that is our true being.

Behind AZRANA stands a twin duo from Belgrade, Serbia.
Their aligned life experiences firmed their naturally given and nurtured creative energy.

Both are multi-media artists who fruited diverse projects throughout the years of channeling their exquisite taste in art. All of their art in textile manipulation, tattooing and graphic design is sourced and underlined with a lifelong obsession with music.

They switched from playing piano to singing, but have finally found their true passion and confidence many years later in DJing as they ignite powerful tunes from the decks.

With deep love and support for the local trance scene, they joined fellow friends of Global Sect in November 2023.
