RAMKKA is a DJ and producer from a small town in Ireland that has been fascinated with techno since he was a teenager. His love for the genre developed after seeing Dave Clarke many years ago and he has been DJing since then with his production career coming more recently. His brand of techno is dark, hypnotic and driving and he states DJs like Oscar Mulero, Lewis Fautzi and Norbak as his inspirations. His first EP was released earlier this year on Spanish industrial label Truc Records followed by a track on heavyweight UK techno label Taro Records with another 2 3-track EPs on the way alongside other remixes and tracks which have also been signed by labels across Europe.

Very special guest on board for this TLP mix bringing the heat from his very own GEN X label: Deep Dimension! His productions are voracious. Like heavy sonic artillery assaulting through blasting speakers,backed by punching kick drums. Searching for the essence of the 90s rave-scene, he interprets it by stripping it bare, creating an idiomatic formula for the present-day techno. He selects contemporary tracks capturing the feeling of the Dutch hard house and techno scene, while at the same time breathing new life into classic gems he loved getting lost into during that era. Gabber and trance are always in the mix to create an uninhibited stomping trip, but you also find subtle elements of deeper progressive influences, creating a  distinguished and fresh concept.

“Welcome to episode seven of GLITCH CURATES. This week we have Chriz.jae, a DJ and producer from Hannover, Germany. Working with both Ericson and LYZA, (LYRIC) to curate SOLID, a Hannover based night hosted in Klub Pan they are keeping the local scene alive by breathing a fresh new sound into it. 


Chriz, a Dj I interacted with not long ago after listening to a couple of his mixes has consistently impressed me with his music. Taking inspiration from both Setaoc Mass and Egotot, a couple of the scenes finest producers its clear to see how these influences have helped shape his sound. This mix is a great example of what I love about techno, fast energetic and exciting transitions. Featuring music from some of my favourite producers.

DEAD CERT. Records is a label linked to the well known website deathtechno.com ran by Jack! Who? in the UK. A diverse palette has seen the previous releases feature music from artists including Audio Injection / Truncate, Paul Mac, TWR72, Echoplex and Petter B, to name but a few.

Uruguay-based William Arist returns to DEAD CERT. following his fierce vinyl only contribution "Cyanophyta" that has gathered pace as an essential DJ weapon. Having released on labels like Animal Farm, Vinicius Honorio's Liberta, Deano (ZA)'s Knowledge Imprint, his very own Perseverancia and soon Marco Faraone's UNCAGE, he also lists support by the likes of Ben Sims, Charlotte de Witte and Tensal.

He has delved into his vast production archive especially for DEAD CERT. and alongside three original works is a remix from Fossil Archive aka Roberto.

Fossil Archive also goes by the name Roberto to many and has a back catalogue including Radio Slave's Rekids, Mike Dehnert’s Fachwerk, Emmanuel’s ARTS, On Edge Society and collaborations with the late Trevino and Roman Lindau for example, his huge, consistent and educated sound is much loved.

"Drastic" kicks things off with a raw, angular jam, wrapped in analogue grit and infectious electronic funk that tears forward with a jovial heart at its core.

Second up is "Desire" that opts for a different approach. The rolling bottom end, pulsing phasers and deep chords add a warm sensitivity to its otherwise energetic framework.

Fossil Archive aka Roberto goes full throttle with his rework, jackin' at its best with both feet on the dance floor and a style that will defy anyone not to succumb to its monumental influence.

Showing his production skills in full effect, "Dystopia" is a lesson in abstract grooves and rich sound design, for those who like leftfield techno dripping in character and creativity.

Exos, from Iceland but now living in Vietnam. He’s the responsible of our next hour together at HEX Transmission.

His real name is Arnvidur and it means weapon, warrior, and the first  edition of humanity in the nordic world. His aka instead, means an  unpredictable aspect of observation.  

Exos, runs two labels called Planet X and X/OZ Music which have released  the sound of many artists including Matrixxman, Gotshell, Lafontaine  and more. As producer, his latest release “Indigo” was on Len Faki’s  Figure.

If it happens to you to be around Vietnam soon, he’s organising a 3 day  festival with 30 artists performing at Phu Qouc Island in 4 weeks from  now. I’m glad to see that something somewhere is still moving.  

Now let’s forget everything and leave space to music. In this session you will find some rare old school vinyl gems.
