Birds of Paradise

Aztoria is the melodic bush techno project of Ashley Zadel, also known as @flow-theory. For more than 25 years, his psytech sound has evolved through auditory storytelling on stages across the globe, from Cape Town to London, Australia to Brazil.

Rooted in progressive soundscapes with an organic flavour, Aztoria blends melodic deep house grooves with minimal techno to craft psychedelic atmospheres that ignite the imagination.

His debut EP, “Reborn,” released on Dense Nebula Records in October 2023, soared to #4 on Beatport’s Techno (Peak Time/Driving) charts. In May 2024, his single “Birds of Paradise” on Soliq Records reached #33 on Beatport’s Top 100 Hype Techno charts. With new releases on Techgnosis Records and more in the pipeline, Aztoria continues to innovate and inspire.
