A dark/industrial techno ride influenced by and including SLAM's original elements.

For Lack Of A Better Set

"1005 Realities" is the main track of the EP.

The idea behind it is that at raves and other events thousands of realities are created within the listeners by their own mindsets and actions, by the location, lighting and most importantly by the DJs playing tracks with different moods and emotions.

I think it's fascinating to experience this special atmosphere, that is created by all these elements clashing together and also to be aware of the fact that everybody lives their own, individual idea of this atmosphere and all its different aspects. Crazy.

I wanted to translate this idea into a hard, pushing acid-kinda track.

1005 Realities

This track is the interlude and original intro for "5000V".

When I first started it, I wanted to have a really atmospheric intro for it and so I went and created a piece with my Prologue 8.

After finishing "5000V", I split both tracks, because this intro was too long and I felt they had gotten different, individual vibes to it.

So, "The Void That Comes With It" - A track, that describes the void that comes with an existential crisis.
What do you think? Is there a reason for life to be existent?

One of the more interesting questions to think about, but can be frightening after a while.
Whatever - don't take life too seriously, you'll be good.

What goes through your mind, when listening to it?

5000V

"This one is a special one". Literally, what the vocal sample originally said and also the starting point of this track.

I really wanted to make this one special. I wanted to create a journey.

Why the name "It Appears To Move"?
When I was producing this, I had this tune in my mind "The Music Is Moving" by Fargetta and it got me thinking..

Music is actually moving - Sound is vibration.
And sometimes, music really appears to be moving, to be alive. It's like you can really feel what the artist behind it was thinking.

Anyways - the end result makes me really proud, what do you think?
