A Past Love

Ryugu-Jo is an underwater palace, house of Ryujin, the dragon Kami of the sea.

This is a story about a young man who grew up with his uncle's (a sailor) stories, myths and legends of the sea, the greatest of them all was the legend of the underwater palace.

As he grew up he knew that there was something about it that attracted him so much.. No one believed in it's ecistence but he decided to start his journey looking for this palace with a boat and his flute, he travelled the seas looking for something that may not even exist. During his journey ue used to play a melody with the flute that his uncle taught him, it's the melody of the song.

One day he saw something shining under the water, far beneath the surface, he knew that he finally reached the end of his journey, it was there, under his boat.

He dives into the water e swims towards this light and it was there, an immense silver palace shining to the rays of the moon with a storm of fishes swimming around it, it was the best thing Kaito have seen in his life, his mission was finally over, he knew he was right, he found the Ryugu-Jo, the palace of Ryujin

An original piece of music by myself. This is a rework of a piece I wrote as a kid (around 1998). Back then it sounded super crap (I did it in a mod tracker wth 100k of samples on my Atari ST. Those were the days). I didn't listen to the piece before making it - just went from memory to make sure I wasn't just pure remaking.
