| It's been days, weeks, or even months since I constantly forget.
It's this apathy that moves from marrow bone to flesh, it's a doubtful burn.

Of these marauding thoughts that just bloat beneath my skin, they eat away everyday.
For lack thereof feelings that don't amount to much anymore in this bed or this head.

And ask myself everyday, how can I achieve, how can I be?
But this existential depression won't let me see, and it's an issue that I have. 

So I ask myself who am I, what am I? 
And so I just say death consume my breath.

In these scarlet beds that hum my empty prayers and ex-lovers.
Their loves marauding spells of depression catacombs and entomb me here.

And my family? Leave them be they don't need to know the man I've become.
Of the rotting ideas that hang back and forth like a noose, haunting me, and taunting me.

And it leaves me wondering and pondering of the strangers I've come across, the lovers that I've lost.
Are they happy with their own reality, do they question their own fantasies?

Is there a right or wrong?
Is there a grey area?

I suppose no one will ever know, until we all succumb to death.
And I suppose I'm tired, I want it early, so please take my breath.
