Azure Mind - Releases

I have had this track on my hard drive for few weeks now and i finally made my decision to go for it and upload it here. I suppose it is now as ready as it can and will be. Fading Light resumes the same musical line as my other last Drum & Bass tracks. People digging trance and house type of music might also find something familiar from here. The track is heavily influenced by artists such as Metrik, Feint, Maduk and many more. It is made for moments just sitting at home without a hurry anywhere. Just grab a glass of wine or your favourite beer and sit down for a moment and chill out. Take a listen and feel free to drop a comment if you find something to say about the track.

Evening, Wednesday, Black Rock City 2014. Led by Paavo and Tony of Above and Beyond, bathing in the lavender sunset, we practiced an hour of yoga with Elena Brower. We gathered, strengthened, listened and received the gift of quiet. We landed at home in our own hearts. This class reminds us that we are never alone, and that no matter where we are, we are on the path, and right at home.

When i do release music, i don't do it every year. Here it is, after 8 years of waiting - my second official single release 'Free Rider'. This track was actually intended to be a free release at first, but after few labels show their interest, i thought why not. Free Rider was premiered the first time at august in finnish national radio station YleX by DJ Orion. If you like the track, please feel free to tell about it to your friends too!

Between the trance productions is always refreshing to make something very different. Drum'n'Bass music has earned a special place in my heart and i love also very much producing it. This is a remix i actually made almost entirely last weekend. I just made few tweaks and listened it from many sound setups during past week. With iconic releases such as Origami, Mangata, Emerald and recently Wormhole, Dimension is having quite a run on great releases on Flashover. Originally written exclusively for the Gouryella live shows, Dimension is the only outside artist to contribute to these live shows other than Ferry Corsten himself. 

Dopamina builds on that typical uplifting Dimension sound that made him the producer we all know and love. Driving towards the break on a highly addicting riff and rolling bassline, Dopamina comes to full bloom the minute the strings and piano enter which showcase his enormous musical talent. So there's no secret i was super excited when i saw this remix competition open. While i'm big fan of trance music i like to listen and produce drum'n'bass too. Azure Mind is Janne Martikainen, 29 years old electronic music producer from Finland, Joensuu. Janne got interested of electronic music and started producing it around years 2002-2003. Azure Mind project is not focused in specific style or genre, but strong, vivid and catchy melodies over a driving beats are very characteristic to this artist. Trance has always been the main thing, but don't be surprised to hear House, Drum & Bass, Chill out, Breakbeat or other electronic dance music under this Soundcloud page.
