"This album was conceived as a soundtrack where abstract fragments of dreams search in vain for a form, a definition. The subconscious generates sometimes non-existent places where blurry images and faded colors become scenarios for random stories and fairy tales, inconsistent and redundant fantasy. In my dreams, the constant presence of climatic conditions fluctuates between the calm of the early morning and the heavy rains of the late afternoon at dusk, thus marking in an almost oppressive way, that state of unconsciousness and resignation that push me into enchanting plots suspended in time."

And this debut album for Gated doesn't disappoint, drawing from all those genres across two slabs of wax, underpinned with the Kid's keen ear for electronic music's hypnotic qualities.

These 10 tracks are raw and dancefloor-ready, but still retain that infectious listenability present in everything The Jaffa Kid produces.

Azure Vista Records is an independently owned and operated label based in Odense, Denmark with a strong focus on blissed-out electronic sounds!

Creative and coding dude with a permanent tab open for Soundcloud. I tend to listen to a broad range of electronica, with a preference for ambient through to techno. Bored of clicky, break beat stuff at the moment. Also like to listen to some indy, folk and soundtracks and classical.

Artist's I like at the moment: Nils Frahm (The dude is so intense life, and funny with the audience) Yann Tierson (Makes you wait a while before coming on stage, but pure talent), Washed out, Golden Fable, London Grammar, Grimes and many others.

I was raised on a healthy diet of Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis thanks to my older brother. Abba and Steve Winward thanks to my mother.  Dived head first into the trance music in the late 90's and still remember putting Bjork's tape into my walkman.
