Psyched to receive the talented duo @wahmmusic, truly one of our favorite 2021 discovery. Coming from nowhere these guys imposed their unique colourful style on labels such as Diynamic, Frau Blau & Disco Halal. Be sure to check out this groovy podcast they prepared for us.

WAHM :

WAHM - or illusion in Arabic; created in reference to music's effects on brain functions.
Composed of two childhood friends, born, and raised in Morocco, the live act saw officially the light in Paris in 2020.
Both members are multi-instrumentalists and have different influences. From metal to jazz, going through reggae and Arabic roots music, they combine styles and genres in a very creative way, to come up with a unique organic sound. Their groove consists of electric bass lines and acoustic drums full of unpredictable breaks, while their melodies are a well-balanced mix between sad and hopeful scales and arps.
Releasing on Solomun's Diynamic in early 2021 was a turning point in their musical career, being revealed to the public through a four-tracker EP with eclectic influences.

Emir Čolpa, known as Coem, was born in Sarajevo in 1996. He has shown his love for music since he was a child, so he attended music school where he learned to play the guitar.

His music is characterized by Deep, Melodic and Progressive House sounds with a touch of darker Indie Dance.

He started his DJ career in 2019 when he made his first public appearances in his hometown. Since then, he became one of the founders of the Sarajevo Matinee and became a resident in the program of the Silver & Smoke Club.

He has shared his DJ booth with names such as Denis Horvat, Coeus, Re You, Mia Mendi and many other local and regional DJs.

Playing piano and showing passion for music since childhood.
Like many other artists he firstly starts learning to DJ, but later on he wanted to develop his self as artist thru music production.
He kicks off with "2odd" project in early months of 2018, its relativly young project, but not least quality.
His tracks brings him recognition on local electronic music scene, as he gets invited to play on events in his native town Sarajevo.
His production is characterized by deep bass lines, progressive synths and groovy rythms, with who he gets you on pleasant ride.
As a producer he tends to constant evolve quality of his sound, and for sure is one to look up to.
