i found this beat on youtube and i instantly knew i needed to use it. i love the beat and i love faye webster, her song ‘i know you’ is sampled in this beat. i think this is the closest i’ll get to a faye webster feature for now lol. 

i always say i hate writing love/breakup songs, and i do, but for some reason i felt like it fit the vibe of this beat the most which is why i decided to write another one. at first i didn’t want to release this one yet because my first song was a love/breakup song, and i want to release songs with many different topics i have to show a little versatility, but this was just too good to not release. i also wanted to release a song by a different producer because most of my unreleased are prod by tykun. love his beats ofc!!

initially i wanted to name this song parasite but i already have two songs out that start with a p so i needed to get a little more creative. this song is about a relationship i was in where i was getting cheated on constantly, but for some reason i always believed him when he said sorry 🤡. i liked the lines “you did it again and again” so much that i had to use it twice. i was debating because i liked it for both parts of the song that i put the line in. eventually i decided to use it for both because he kept lying, so i felt like it fit to say it a second time. i show my frustration with his constant lies throughout the song, and at the end i show that i’m being hypocritical when i judge him because i also cheated.

idk i just need to shut up sometimes i guess lol. telling people certain things about myself have led to a mix of lies and the truth being spread around about me. it has definitely had a big impact on my life, but i know that this is just the beginning since i am working towards becoming famous. the worst hasn’t been said about me yet, true or false.

after i sent my demo for ‘used’ LO$aY told me to send him something he could hop on. (august 2) i’ve never made any opens before but i did have a beat that i felt his voice would sound good on (i was right ofc). i instantly knew that i wanted him to start the song off, so i told him how long i wanted the first part to be before i came in. he sent me his verse about 30 mins later and i loved it sm. i just decided to completely go off of his vibe in this one. carlos is also the one who picked the beat for paranoia even though i was too scared to sing it in front of him lol.
