This record started life as the most asked about ‘ID’ in Maur’s DJ sets during the Summer. Fast forward to the present day, and it finally see’s the light of day on Toolroom! A stone-cold Toolroom classic from way back in 2006 in the original Toolroom ‘family’ era when Dave Spoon (aka Shadow Child), Funkagenda, D.Ramirez and Mark Knight ruled the roost. It was always a record well ahead of it’s time, fusing electro elements with tough tech house beats and Maur, who racked up an impressive 30m + streams last year, have updated it perfectly for today’s floors. 

Maintaining much of the original vibe but adding their big room melodic twist and bundles of energy, this is already causing a huge stir at club level with Gorgon City, Alan Fitzpatrick, Danny Howard, Adam Beyer and Nicky Romero all providing early support!

Brighton-based DJ, producer, and renowned remixer Zac Samuel returns with his latest track, ‘Let Go’. Known for his bold, genre-blending style that draws from the best of UK house, Zac has built a notorious reputation in the scene. 

Zac’s remix talent for artists like Years & Years, Demi Lovato, and Mabel established him as a sought-after producer, bringing his signature twist to tracks that push boundaries and redefine genres. It’s About Us’ is a track I made which is dedicated to the launch of my new event concept: USS. The lyrics that you hear in the track represent what I’m aiming for with the concept of the event. I’d really to make sure that the collective of people attending our events will be the main focus and centre of everything, not necessarily the artist who is performing at that moment. The decisions we will make for our event - from stage design to lighting and other details - are all made with the idea of making sure the experience is more important than one single individual. This is how the event took shape, and this is also the core inspiration I had for this track. In my mind I could play this at the very start of my sets, in particular at The Roundhouse on Feb 1st. It’s soulful, and it has a message with a meaning for me to kick off this new chapter in my career. I can’t wait to play it there.
