This album is Sweetheart…Ver.2 which is a new version of the Album Sweetheart...Vol.1, which I released in June 2019. 

I recorded and produced the original album at a time when I was struggling with major health issues. On reflection, this album helped me enormously at the time, but when I listen to the music now...I can hear and feel the low energy of the music and don’t feel that I have brought out the best in music I recorded. So here it is again, and I hope you enjoy this version.   

This Album consists of Love Ballads across the generations and is dedicated to my family for the amazing love and support I have received throughout my many health issues and challenges.

The title track ‘Sweetheart’ is a song that was released in 1971 by Engelbart Humperdinck and is one of my favourites...I have also recorded a number of his songs on this album such as ‘Three Little Words (I Love You)’ (1967), ‘The Way It Used to Be’ (1969), ‘After the Lovin’ (1976) and ‘The Last Waltz’ (1967). So, hope you enjoy these oldies and vintage music.

If you have followed my music, you would have realised that Cliff Richard is one of my favourite artists...and have included several his songs on this album. ‘A little in Love’ (1980). An all-time favourite of mine ‘When the Girl in Your Arms’ (1961) and ‘How Wonderful to Know (1961). So, hope you enjoy these songs as well.

A beautiful love ballad by Bryan Adams ‘Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman’ (1995) and Love is All Around by Wet, Wet, Wet (1994). 

A couple of Classics in ‘One and One is One’ (Medicine Head) (1973) and ‘By the Devil (I was Tempted) (Blue Mink) (1973) will also lift the mood...so enjoy these as well.
 
Other Love ballads like Just One Look by the Hollies (1964), ‘Wonderful World by Sam Cooke (1960), Can’t Take My Eyes of You (Andy Williams) (1967), Nine Million Bicycles (Katie Melua) (2008), ‘The Lady in Red’ (Chris De Burgh) (1986), a vintage Seekers Song ‘I’ll Never Find Another You’ (1968) and the Vogues ‘You’re the One’ (1965) ...will definitely bring back memories. I hope you enjoy these as well.

The music that I produce, and my emotional energy are very much entwined. As part of my musical journey, the need to reflect on past musical productions is a matter of course and some albums may need to undergo a much-needed revamp...so stay with me on this journey and I hope you enjoy the music as much as I have in reproducing it.
