This is a brief track using only presets from Sylphs by Subsonic Artz. Mixing and mastering effects have been applied, and the arpeggio on one preset has been altered; but these are essentially the sounds found in that soundset.

This is all of the fifteen patches in the 'Fundamental' section of Arca. There are two other sections of presets: 'Hybrid' and 'FX'.
Each patch is performed simply; but with some variation of the key three parameters (like macros) for each patch.

Novum: nova aurora

A test of different processing on the same recording.
All tracks have the same reverb.
There was some level matching by ear/eye.
Track inserts were set with separate parameters for the piano and the cello.

Testing Little Gods

A demo of Atma, an instrument that I find very meditative and healing; although it can do slightly dark. Essentially, I think it is a very spiritual instrument. And spirituality can be dark too, just as people can be. And dogs.

A brief tryout for Spitfire Audio's DC Noisemaker, made with David Coulter. The deeper drums at the end are from Danheim's Asgaard sample library; they come in after the sort-of semi drum roll. All other sounds come from DC Noisemaker.

DC Noise Maker Demo - Dark Room

I put this together very quickly to try out the new synth Kult by Dawesome, and sold through Tracktion. I did a bit of beta testing and made some patches for it. I love it.

This is made solely with presets from Kult with no external effects and only a little bit of panning and volume adjustments.

A quick first try out with Leap Into The Void's new soundset for UVI Falcon. Pad Scape Sphere is divided into three categories:

I've used examples from all of these categories. No tweaking outside of the macros, no external effects, some panning and volume mixing.

Under A Crystal Gaze

This is my first recorded jam with the semi-modular synth Taiga by Pittsburgh Modular. It is a mono synth, but I have mixed it in stereo. There are two tracks, both improvised; the second improvised over the first, louder track.

Bee's First (Semi-)Modular Jam

Here is a jam recorded as a single mono track, then mixed to stereo, using the Pittsburgh Modular TAIGA and their phaser module The Toad. Also used were Erica Synths' Polivoks filter and various guitar pedals - an all analogue signal path, albeit one recorded to digital.

I opened the amp for a continuous drone and then played with the parameters. So, if nothing else, this gives a reasonable sense of some of the things that can be done with The Toad Eurorack module.

Note that The Toad can be used for stereo processing from a mono input. It has two outputs; one is at the seventh stage of phasing, the other at the twelfth. I didn't do that in this case.

A drone. Using the Prophet '08 and the Pittsburgh Modular Taiga, recorded through a valve preamp pedal and with some reverb and delay added in the box.

Here's a little one-minute try out with Nordic Echoes, an independently developed library for Kontakt Full. There are no effects added to the Hardanger Fiddle at all, just the lovely church room tone it was recorded with.
